Company Introduction

Hyunseung was established as a company in 2011, following consultation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government when it moved into the Seoul Start-up Center.

Hyung-chul Choi, the founder of the company, has secured numerous patents based on 30 years of extensive research into modernizing kitchenware. His smart knife has been highly praised by chefs and home users.

The Smart Knife can cut without food matter becoming stuck on the blade or scattering on the cutting board. The development of the Smart Knife was achieved with consulting from the Korea Productivity Center (KPC) and technical cooperation from the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology (KITECH).

It has been recognized as an excellent product in surveys of consumer reactions by Gallup, the renowned opinion survey institution. It obtained patents from the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and received rave reviews at various domestic and international exhibitions. Hyunseung products have the highest quality or performance ratings and the company is proud of treating employees as family members.
